Order well in advance

I placed an order on Feb 10 and it took a week for it to ship. Inexplicably, after placing the order I received an email asking if I indeed wanted the size I ordered (XS) or if I would prefer a size S. Size charts are available on the website and I order based on this and replied that I did want the size I ordered. I don't know if it's standard procedure for them to email to verify if an order is correct before fulfilling it, but thought it was very strange and had they not done so I would have received my item in time for the event I needed it for. As it is, the item arrived the day after my event which was disappointing. The team was very responsive and helpful with tracking, etc however and the items are nice though run a little large.
