GLITZIE REFUND & RETURN POLICY

Overview
Glitzie is an online marketplace. Products are sold by independent vendors, each with their own fulfillment practices. This policy governs your rights as a customer purchasing through the Glitzie platform. Your statutory rights may vary depending on your location.
Final Sale Items — All Customers, All Geographies
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances, regardless of your location:
- Custom-made, made-to-measure, or personalized items
- One-of-a-kind items where the hygiene seal tag has been removed or tampered with
- Ready-to-wear garments with integrated undergarments (competition dresses, leotards, and similar) where the hygiene seal tag has been removed or tampered with
- Items altered in any way after delivery
- Items marked "Final Sale" in the product listing
- Items that have been worn, washed, or used in any way
- Gift cards
Hygiene Seal: Glitzie garments containing integrated undergarments ship with a hygiene seal tag attached through the integrated brief, gusset, or undergarment area. This tag must remain fully intact for any return consideration. Removal or tampering with the hygiene seal tag constitutes acceptance of final sale terms and voids all return rights, including statutory rights where permitted by law.
In accordance with Article 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Regulation 28(1)(e) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery.
Custom & Made-to-Order: In accordance with Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Regulation 28(1)(b) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. By completing your purchase of a custom or made-to-measure item, you acknowledge and agree that the right of withdrawal or cancellation does not apply.
Restricted Returns — United States, Canada & All Non-EU/EEA/UK Countries
For eligible items not designated as final sale, returns are accepted only under the following strict conditions:
- You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at returns@glitzie.store with photographic evidence
- You must return the item within 3 days of your notification
- Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all original tags and hygiene seal tags fully intact where applicable
- A 10% restocking fee applies to all authorized returns
- Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer in all cases, except where Glitzie has shipped an incorrect item (wrong product entirely)
Glitzie reserves the sole right to assess whether a return qualifies based on the product listing, vendor documentation, and submitted evidence. Dissatisfaction with color, fit, or personal preference does not constitute grounds for return. Failure to notify us within 48 hours voids any claim.
Condition requirement: Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all original tags intact and in original packaging. We will photograph all returned items upon receipt.
Diminished value: If a returned item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it — including but not limited to evidence of having been worn at an event or competition — we reserve the right to deduct from your refund an amount reflecting the diminished value of the item, up to and including the full purchase price.
Defective or incorrect items: If you believe you have received a defective or incorrect item, you must notify us at returns@glitzie.store within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Glitzie reserves the sole right to assess whether an item qualifies as defective or incorrect based on the product listing, vendor documentation, and submitted evidence. Failure to notify us within 48 hours voids any claim.
Shipping damage: If your item arrives damaged in transit, you must notify us at returns@glitzie.store within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage, the packaging, and the shipping label. You must retain all original packaging for a minimum of 14 days as it may be required to support a carrier claim. Failure to notify us within 48 hours or to retain packaging voids any shipping damage claim. Glitzie will file a carrier claim on your behalf where evidence supports it; resolution is subject to the carrier's claims process and timeline.
Restricted Returns — European Union & EEA
(Applies to: All 27 EU member states, plus Norway, Switzerland, and Iceland)
For eligible items not designated as final sale and where all tags and hygiene seals remain fully intact, EU and EEA customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery at returns@glitzie.store. You must return the item within 5 days of your notification.
Conditions:
- Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all original tags and hygiene seal tags fully intact where applicable
- We will photograph all returned items upon receipt

Dispute Resolution — All Customers
By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this refund policy. In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, Glitzie will submit this policy, your order confirmation, delivery confirmation, and any relevant correspondence as evidence to the payment processor. Chargebacks filed contrary to this policy will be disputed. You agree to contact returns@glitzie.store to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider.
