How to use your chignon? First, make a bun out of your hair. Second, prepare a firm base from your hair to make sure the hairpiece holds. Make layers from hairspray and gel and dry it with a hair dryer. Repeat this over and over until your hair are stone hard. This step is very important because bobby pins need this firm base to hold the chignon. Next step is to put on the chignon. There is a comb and bobby pins on the back side which ensures strong fixing to your hair. You might need to add more bobby pins to make sure the chignon holds well. Use additional bobby pins to attach the rest of the hairpiece to your hairstyle.

How to take care of the chignon? In case you need to repair your hairpiece, you can use transparent superglue. Make sure you cover the crystals first so that they do not lose their shine. It is better to store the hairpiece for example in a bowl to make sure it does not lose its round shape.

Human hair tend to go a bit darker once covered with gel/hairspray, it is important to keep that in mind when picking the right hairpiece color.
